Dear ,

The past few weeks have been full of excitement, connection, and meaningful moments in our community. From celebrating achievements and reconnecting with friends to sharing in special milestones and supporting one another, there’s so much to be grateful for. And the fun isn’t stopping — we have wonderful events coming up, including our Shabbat dinner and other special gatherings, offering more opportunities to come together, celebrate, and make lasting memories.

HSL Sports 2026 Fall/Winter Champions

We are thrilled to congratulate several of our graduates and community members who were part of the championship-winning team in the HSL Basketball League.

We are so proud of their dedication, teamwork, and achievement.

Mazal tov on winning the HSL Fall/Winter Championship for the second year in a row!

New Home & Mezuzos
When moving into a new home, it’s always important to ensure that mezuzos are properly checked and placed. This month, we had the opportunity to visit one of our community members to help with this meaningful mitzvah and to wish him Mazal Tov on his new home.

Pizza for Our Teens

When you run multiple teen programs every week, the energy is high — and so are the pizza bills. Providing food for our teenagers is a big part of creating a warm, welcoming space where they want to show up, connect, and grow.

We would like to thank those who have already contributed toward helping cover the cost of pizza for our teen programs, including Moshe Borukh and Chana Shanowitz. Your support truly makes a difference.

To help cover ongoing program expenses, donations can be made at chabadyq.com/donate.

Reconnecting With Our Released Time Graduates

It’s always special to get together with friends, and even more meaningful when reconnecting with those you’ve known for many years. This past month, we had the opportunity to spend time with a group of young men who were part of our programs over ten years ago.

These boys attended our Release Time program in 5775 - 2015, and it was truly inspiring to see them all grown up. Reconnecting and celebrating together while they were home on winter break from college was a special moment for everyone involved.

Letters in the Torah

Every single letter in the Torah is sacred and essential, just as every Jewish child has a unique and irreplaceable role in our community.

We are always helping community members purchase letters in the Torah, because each letter represents not only a child’s own place in the Torah, but also the unity of all Jewish children coming together. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate that every neshamah matters, and that even the smallest letter carries infinite holiness and strength.

We invite you to join this ongoing celebration of unity by purchasing a letter for your child and making their mark in the Torah.
