Preparation for Purim began with Hamantashen baking
On Purim Eve, we began with the Megilla reading, followed by a celebration - fun, musical, and WILD for all ages!
Bright and early the next morning, 40 students and staff filled the classroom at Forest Hills High School for serious Purim fun (no normal footage, but you get the idea 🤦🏻♂️).

Morning prayers followed.
Then came the Purim of the Arts event for the younger children — art booths, epic costumes, guest appearances from ancient times, firemen handing out popcorn, and lots of smiles.
Thank you to Gary from Apple Bank for sponsoring the event.

All day long, dozens of volunteers fulfilled requests to read the Megilla for the homebound. The Megilla home requests were coordinated by our very own ChabadYQ Dispatcher, Rabbi Zelik Newman. Rabbi Zelik, you are AWESOME!
👃 May the fun and happiness of Purim last us all year round...
