A special thank you to the dedicated yeshiva students who walked many hours to make these readings possible, and to everyone who joined and helped make Shavuos so meaningful.

Forest Hills High School Completes Jewish Club Session with a BANG!
After a long year at the Jewish Club in Forest Hills High School, the end of the year brought with it powerful programs with special guests and happenings.
We had the honor to host Rabbi Tomer Zino from Bet Gavriel who shared words of inspiration, and Rabbi Mayer Waxman of the QJCC who shared about opportunities to give back to the community.
The Doira Zann Band came in with a drumming performance and gave the students a chance to learn how to drum...
And 'Uncle Edik' shared tips on business and 'how to entrepreneur', while treating the students to a tasty pickle - YUM!
The grand finale was our field trip to the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Synagogue in Crown Heights, and to the community and many landmarks there.
We explored the neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
We started off with a prayer in 770, the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Shul and Chabad World HQ.
Then we got to explore a Mitzva Tank, a Synagogue on Wheels.
At the Sofer we learned how Tefillin and Mezuzos are made.
Pizza stop!
And then we visited a Mikvah and learned a ton about this special Mitzva and more.
We later stopped off the HQ of the OK Kosher, and learned about the complicated process it takes to certify over one million ingredients!
The tour was eye opening, exciting and of course, finished with freezing ice cream 🍦
(Above is the "high tech" phone line that was used to broadcast the Torah being taught by the Rebbe)
Special thank to the UJA Federation's Mesorah Bridges Grant for helping make these special programs happen.
