The shofar must be heard on Rosh Hashana this year on Sunday, September 13.​

We must hear shofar even if we do not make it to Synagogue.​ Chabad provides Shofar Home Visits for those who cannot make it to Synagogue.

Please note that volunteers on Rosh Hashana are very limited and home visits cannot always be guaranteed. Please do your best to join us for Rosh Hashana services or Shofar in the Park, or visit a Synagogue of your choice. ​​

As summer winds down, we’ve been visiting members of the community and helping more people put on Tefillin and connect with this special mitzvah.

Here are a few highlights from our recent visits.

The school year begins next week, and we’re excited for all that’s ahead! Stay tuned as we launch our teen and preteen programs, expand into new schools, and introduce new opportunities for Jewish learning and connection for kids of all ages. If your child attends a public school and you’d like to see Jewish programming there, let us know—we’d love to work together and help bring it to life!

The month of Elul is a month of return to Hashem. During this month we recite special prayers called Selichot - watch this short clip of the Rebbe talking about the meaning of Selichot.
